The big news from me is our new Performance Snapshot tool, which finally makes predictive thermal modeling cost-effective and accessible for step-by-step retrofit projects. If we want a positive future with healthy, energy-efficient homes for us all, we have to stop guessing and start modeling the building fabric first.
I also gave a sneak peek into my upcoming book, Deep Energy Retrofits for New Zealand, supported by the NZGBC and EECA, which provides a practical pathway for designers and builders to stop doing stupid stuff and start delivering world-class retrofits.
