The latest book from APHA is the Passivhaus Playbook and it’s great. I love the focus on the team and a successful process.
The publishers describe it as “a nine-step pathway that covers everything from funding to design coordination and supply chain to storytelling … [providing] a process for a technically feasible, buildable, cost-effective Passivhaus approach to new buildings in Australia.”
This is an easy read that I can hand off to non-technical folks. It highlights how Passive House is a team sport, arguing assembling an excellent team is the foundation for a successful project. The book also helpfully addresses issues of cost and value to the developer/owner.
This was a team effort by the Australian Passivhaus Association, Development Victoria and Introba. Thank you for another valuable resource we can use to scale up Passive House design and construction.
