List of all the current air leakage testers in New Zealand accredited with ATTMA.
Air leakage testing very tight buildings (as they all should be build tight and ventilate right is a thing after all) can be tricky and the right training makes it much easier.
We recommend for your Passive House blower door test:
  1. Air leakage testing is done by a currently-registered ATTMA Level 1 or 2 testers with the additional PH+ accreditation. – This is in-work at the moment for NZ but at least we have over nine ATTMA Level 1 tester.

  2. Testing should be done according to ATTMA TSL4, which is based on EN 13829 and ISO 9972 but has additional requirements for data quality and reporting, aiming at best practice. Note ATTMA TSL4 is available free to download.

  3. Results must be filed with ATTMA Lodgement if they are by an ATTMA registered tester. As certifiers, we want to see a compliant ATTMA Registered Certificate of Air Permeability Test with no deviations.
